Terms and conditions

1. Scope, contracting party

The following terms apply to all orders and bookings made through this website. Our offer is aimed exclusively at consumers.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

2. What you can buy on this website

There are two things you can do here:

  • Buy vouchers. Value vouchers for an amount of your choosing and treatment vouchers for a specific treatment. Vouchers are delivered electronically as a PDF by email. No goods are shipped.
  • Book appointments. You choose the treatment, duration, day, time and, if you wish, a specific therapist. Treatments are provided at the studio and paid for there.

3. Conclusion of contract

Vouchers. The presentation of vouchers in the shop is not a binding offer but an invitation to order. You can place vouchers in the basket without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting the order. By submitting the order you make a binding offer. We accept that offer by sending you the order confirmation with the voucher by email. The automatic acknowledgement of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance.

Appointments. Once you have selected a free slot, we hold it for you for ten minutes. By clicking "Book appointment" you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded with our booking confirmation by email. We can only offer appointments for which a qualified therapist is available.

4. Prices

All prices are final prices in euros and include statutory VAT. No shipping or other additional costs apply to vouchers, as delivery is electronic.

5. Delivery of vouchers

You receive the voucher as a PDF by email after successful payment, usually within a few minutes. It is also available for download in your customer account and via the link in the order confirmation.

If you are giving the voucher as a present and entered a different recipient address, we will send it there as well. Please check the spelling of that address; we cannot be responsible for an incorrectly stated recipient address.

If the voucher does not arrive, please check your spam folder and get in touch — we will send it again.

6. Payment

PayPal is available for orders in the shop. You will be redirected to PayPal and confirm the payment there. Through PayPal you can also pay by credit card or direct debit without holding a PayPal account yourself; which methods are offered is decided by PayPal.

The voucher is created and sent as soon as PayPal has confirmed the payment.

Treatments are paid for at the studio, either with a voucher or on site.

7. Vouchers

  • Vouchers are valid for three years from the day they are issued. The date is printed on the voucher.
  • Vouchers are transferable. Whoever presents the code is treated by us as entitled, so please keep the voucher safe.
  • Value vouchers can be redeemed more than once and in partial amounts. Any remaining balance stays available until the expiry date and can be checked at the studio at any time.
  • Treatment vouchers apply to the treatment and duration printed on them. If you choose a different treatment at the studio, we credit the amount paid; you pay any difference on site, and any surplus is not forfeited but remains as a balance.
  • If our prices rise after purchase, a treatment voucher remains valid for the treatment named on it at no extra charge.
  • If a voucher is lost, we will block the code once you tell us and issue a replacement for the remaining balance, provided it has not already been redeemed.

8. Deposit

For some appointments we ask for a deposit – for longer treatments, for the Romantik Spa and for bookings for two, for instance. Whether we do and how much we ask for, we tell you when you book; you then receive an email with a payment link.

  • The deposit is credited against the price of the treatment.
  • If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the appointment, we refund it in full.
  • If you do not turn up without cancelling, we keep the deposit as compensation for the time held free. You are free to show us that we suffered no loss, or a smaller one.
  • If we have to cancel the appointment, we refund the deposit in full unless an alternative date is agreed.

9. Appointments, cancellation and lateness

  • Please arrive a few minutes before the agreed time. If you are late, the treatment time is shortened accordingly so that the next appointment can start on time; the agreed price remains unchanged.
  • You can cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, using the link in your booking confirmation.
  • Within 24 hours of the appointment, please cancel by phone on +49 6841 8179592.
  • We reserve the right to cancel an appointment if the assigned therapist is unavailable at short notice. In that case we will offer you an alternative date; if no alternative is agreed, we refund any payment already made.

10. Health and cooperation

Massages are wellness treatments and are not a substitute for medical care. Please tell us before we begin about any health limitations — for example pregnancy, acute inflammation, fever, thrombosis, cardiovascular conditions, skin conditions or recent injuries. For certain treatments we ask for your explicit consent during booking.

We may decline or stop a treatment if it does not appear justifiable on health grounds, or if guests are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Our treatments are wellness treatments only; guests expecting anything else will be asked to leave.

We treat minors only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

11. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply.

For claims based on damage caused by us, our legal representatives or our agents, we are always liable without limitation

  • in the event of injury to life, body or health,
  • in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,
  • in the case of guarantees, where agreed, or
  • to the extent that the German Product Liability Act applies.

In the event of a slightly negligent breach by us, our legal representatives or our agents of material contractual obligations whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose observance the contracting party may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), liability is limited in amount to the damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and typical for this type of contract. Claims for damages are otherwise excluded.

For valuables you bring into the studio we are liable only in the event of intent or gross negligence.

12. Contract language and contract text

The contract can be concluded in German or English. The German version of these terms is authoritative for their interpretation.

We store the contract text and send you the order or booking details by email. You can view your orders, bookings and vouchers in your customer account at any time.

13. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal. Details are set out in our withdrawal policy.

14. Customer card

Where we run a customer card, the following applies:

  • Taking part is voluntary and free of charge; it requires a customer account.
  • A stamp is earned for every completed treatment booked through this website. Appointments arranged by phone or at the studio do not count.
  • Once the card is full, one treatment up to the amount shown in your customer account is on us; if the treatment you choose costs more, you pay the difference.
  • Stamps are not a means of payment, are not transferable and are not paid out in cash.
  • If a treatment is cancelled or an order refunded, the corresponding credit is removed.
  • We may change or end the card giving four weeks' notice. Balances earned up to then remain redeemable during that period.
  • We may block a card account that is being misused.

15. Dispute resolution

We are willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The body responsible is the Allgemeine Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle des Zentrums für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Germany, www.verbraucher-schlichter.de.

16. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains in force.
